Join Women’s Empowerment International (WE) for a friendraising fundraiser celebrating summer’s start with a backyard, catered BBQ, music, inspiration, connections, conversations, and women’s empowerment. There will be opportunities to learn about WE, our grant partners’ programs, and the empowered women who are served, along with delicious food, drinks, music, and door prizes! You will also be able to browse and purchase products from some of the women entrepreneurs participating in programs with WE grant partners.
The event is hosted by WE Board Member, Landen Villanueva, and her husband, Josh, at their beautiful home in Poway. The address will be sent upon registration. Please note: this is an outdoor event.
Event proceeds benefit grants for microloans and other economic empowerment programs distributed to our partners in San Diego and around the world.

I Love A Clean San Diego is thrilled to invite you to our Spring Social on Thursday, June 8, at 5:30 p.m. at Duck Foot Brewing Co. in Miramar!
The Spring Social marks the return of our in-person gatherings, where we will celebrate our shared successes and foster a stronger environmental community. In addition to hearing about the impact across the region and providing updates on the year ahead, we will also be honoring a group of outstanding volunteers.
The San Diego community has played an integral role in preserving the health and beauty of our shared environment, and we are excited to celebrate our impact with you all.

On September 8, we’re “raising the tide” for our nonprofit sector with a full day of learning that includes fundraising experts and philanthropy leaders from across North America and San Diego County.

The 6th Annual Goat for Joe Golf Classic & Mental Health Fair
In partnership with the Rotary Club of San Marcos, Goat for Joe raises funds for suicide prevention and mental health awareness, and TrueCare’s Behavioral Health Division is the primary beneficiary of the proceeds.
Grab your friends and family members for a fun day of golf for cause!
The golf tournament is limited to the first 132 players with lunch and dinner included. The Mental Health Fair and Family festivities will have catered food and will be open at 10:00 AM for all supporters.

Get your organization poised for success with both fundraising events and sponsorships! These two half-day workshops, led by 20-year nonprofit event producer A.J. Steinberg, CFRE, are the perfect way to get your nonprofit ready to succeed with both.

Steinberg has produced over 100 successful events and raised millions of dollars for organizations with her Los Angeles-based production company. In 2015 A.J. launched Queen Bee Fundraising to share the art of nonprofit event planning and engagement strategies with organizations worldwide. She is a recognized topic expert, and presents on subjects such as nonprofit event planning, event sponsorships, committee and volunteer leadership, generational giving, and guest engagement.

Each year, Girl Scouts San Diego honors exemplary women whose personal and professional lives make them consummate role models for girls. Cool Women make the world a better place as they balance work, family, friends and community service. During a mentoring session, luncheon and ceremony, these female leaders share the spotlight with the Emerging Leader Girl Scouts, who are recognized for their outstanding achievements by their mentors and community leaders.
Proceeds support programs that empower Girl Scouts to use their voices, develop a strong sense of self, step outside their comfort zones, and build resilience.
