The North County Food Bank’s Drive Out Hunger Golf Classic will be held on Monday, July 25th at the beautiful Shadowridge Golf Club in Vista. The half day event includes an amazing lunch, Bloody Mary bar, contests, awesome swag and giveaways, unlimited beverages, live auction and end of day reception. We’re also holding a special VIP event on Thursday, July 21st for our VIP guests at with fittings, contests, dinner and drinks.

Now in its 11th year, “Heart of a Child” has become the premier showcase of young musical talent in San Diego. This benefit concert features a diverse array of talented vocalists and instrumentalists performing a variety of musical genres with acts both large and small. Performers have appeared on network television, played Carnegie Hall and won national competitions. You won’t want to miss this once a year musical celebration!
All proceeds of the concert go to support Resounding Joy’s Ariana Miller Healing Notes Program providing no-cost music therapy to patients at Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego.

Join us for a joyful regathering to celebrate the strength and commitment of our Seacrest family. This will be our first in-person gala since February 2020 and we are thrilled to be reuniting. The Reunion Gala will be held outdoors at a private residence and vineyard in Rancho Santa Fe. Guests will enjoy a champagne and cocktail reception, a 3-course wine-paired dinner overlooking the vineyard, live entertainment, an auction, and Fund-a-Need Program. Proceeds from the gala will support the Seacrest Village Resident Assistance Fund, which provides care for those in need who may have nowhere else to turn for help.

The Women’s Auxiliary of Seacrest Foundation strives to nurture and enrich the quality of life for the residents of Seacrest Village which provides unsurpassed housing and healthcare for seniors in need. Seacrest Village provides services in a Jewish environment that promote community, independence, and innovation.
This interactive virtual event of fun and entertainment celebrates older adults and our caring community. A festive auction follows throughout the week with amazing items including gift cards, vacation stays, experiences, and more! Proceeds support ElderHelps programs and services helping San Diego seniors to live independently and with dignity in their own homes.
The annual Goat For Joe Golf Tournament and BBQ is a fundraising event orchestrated by Dana and Andrea Albert through the San Marcos Rotary Club Foundation. The presenting sponsor is Lawyers Title San Diego. This was created in memory of Joseph Aaron Nunez, Andrea’s brother, who passed away by suicide in March 2017. There are several families in North County San Diego that may have a “Joe” in their lives that is struggling with mental illness such as suicidal behavior, anxiety, depression, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or any other debilitating mental disability.
We strive to create community awareness and to educate people about identifying mental illness in loved ones. We will provide families with options to consider for treatment. Often times and particularly in grown men, people are ashamed and afraid to seek out professional and spiritual help. We hope to eliminate the stigma of the topic and to encourage families to seek out resources that can help with Suicide Prevention and Mental Illness treatment.
The primary beneficiary or financial proceeds is True Care Behavioral Health Division. True Care, formerly North County Health Services, is a San Marcos based non-profit medical service provider serving those with limited income or limited access to affordable healthcare services. True Care has specialty centers with Mental & Behavioral Health service in Oceanside, San Marcos, and Perris.
