Farm to Table(aux)

Farm to Table(aux) is a beautiful, creative event featuring farm-to-table food; live, interactive art; and artisanal cocktails. Mingle and watch artists work on their paintings during a cocktail soiree, then move inside for a 3-course dinner featuring fresh, locally-sourced food and boutique wines. Enjoy live entertainment, including music and inspiring speeches from local youth.

This event benefits Reality Changers, a nonprofit organization which prepares youth to become first-generation college graduates and agents of change in their communities. Guests will have the opportunity to enter a mystère box raffle and bid on exciting auction items.

Featuring the work of local artist Suzanne Merritt.

Discovery Winter Camp 2024 at the Agua Hedionda Lagoon Foundation

Discovery Winter Camp features hands-on, educational lessons and activities all about Science and Sea Life. This includes lessons about plants and animals that live in the ocean and investigate the science behind ocean exploration, density and biodiversity of the ocean! All camps take place outdoors in our Nature Nodes and are filled with nature walks, animal interactions, science experiments and fun games!

RiverBlue Film Screening

Join I Love A Clean San Diego for a journey around the world’s most polluted rivers, as we take a deep dive into the global fashion industry, in our screening of the documentary film RiverBlue on Thursday, January 25 from 7:15 – 9:30 PM.
The film screening will be hosted in the Warren Auditorium at the University of San Diego, and a Q&A session with a panel of local sustainability experts will follow the conclusion of the film.

What do you know about hate crimes, hate incidents, and reporting? What would you like to know? What would you like to see from how the Center engages with the community? How can we provide opportunities for education and support?

The North County LGBTQ Resource Center wants to bring our community together to better understand concerns around hate, how hate is showing up in our community, and how to protect and organize around hate crimes.

OTC Youth Summer Performance Camp: 13 the Musical

OTC Summer Theatre Performers focus on acting, singing, and dancing, while also honing audition skills, stage presence, and a sense of theater community. The camp culminates in a weekend of performances of a standard Broadway-style musical theater youth production. This year’s performance will be 13, The Musical. *Auditions will be done on the first two days of camp. Please be sure to bring all necessary paperwork to the first day of camp. Rappel down the side of a 30-story building! From the side of the iconic Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego, you’ll experience a life-changing adrenaline rush and take in stunning views of downtown San Diego. This thrilling adventure is available to anyone. No prior experience necessary, for participants ages 13 to 103. 

This incredible event is a fundraiser for Reality Changers, a local organization that helps youth achieve their dreams. Every dollar raised supports tutoring, career readiness programs, college application support, and more for students who will be the first in their families to graduate from college.

Living Will: The Legacy of William Shakespeare

Richard Lederer returns to OTC for a night of Shakespeare. In honor of William Shakespeare’s birthday, Union-Tribune language columnist Lederer will demonstrate through excerpts from the Bard’s plays and sonnets that Shakespeare is alive and well and living robustly in San Diego. A special guest will perform two Shakespeare monologues to help illustrate the brilliance of the great dramatist.
