Join the virtual Power of Engagement Summit Feb 22-25 and see how Fundraising Academy graduates and partners are putting Cause Selling strategies into action. Collaborate with professionals in and outside your field and gain fresh perspectives by putting healthy relationships at the center of your changemaking work.

If you are not available on all four days, register at no cost for the sessions you can attend, and we will see you there.

 Harmony SEL, Inspire Teaching & Learning, and Fundraising Academy Cause Selling Education have witnessed our communities coming together to support changing needs in an unfamiliar landscape. The Power of Engagement Summit furthers this collaboration with keynote presentations and breakout sessions where you can see the impact of SEL implementation and relationship-driven fundraising in action.

12th Annual Mitchell Thorp Foundation Warrior Spirit 5K and Scavenger Hunt Goes Virtual

North County Philanthropy Council January 6, 2021

The 12th Annual Mitchell Thorp Foundation (MTF) Warrior Spirit 5K and Scavenger Hunt Goes Virtual, benefiting families whose children are battling life-threatening medical conditions & disorders. Participants can register and choose their own course in their own cities and neighborhoods and complete between February 6th– 21st, 2021.

This annual event is MTF’s largest fundraiser of the year, allowing them to help more families with children diagnosed with life-threatening medical conditions. The funds raised go to MTF’s programs to help children like Jocelyn, age 7, who has been diagnosed with Leukemia. Jocelyn’s mom like many, had to leave her job to stay by her side at the hospital while undergoing chemotherapy, Reagan age 10 diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia and Jordan age 15 diagnosed with brain cancer. MTF helps families keep a roof overhead, food on the table, and helps cover medical costs not covered under most insurance programs,

Boys & Girls Club of Vista Trivia Night – Virtual event

North County Philanthropy Council August 3, 2020

This fun night of friendly competition will help support the Boys & Girls Club of Vista’s essential programs and services.  We are responding to the needs in our community by remaining open for full days to support working families while the school year begins remotely.  Your team of up to five people will join the part with 39 other teams in Zoom.  You will compete in four rounds of trivia with topics ranging from general knowledge and pop culture to music and film.  To submit your answers your team will be sent to a private break-out room where you can discuss strategy.  This is a great way to gather with family and friends from around the country.  Prizes will be awarded and there will also be a raffle for donations received the night of the event.

FOR WILD’S SAKE – SDRVC 2020 River Valley Fest – Virtual Fundraising Event

North County Philanthropy Council August 3, 2020

San Dieguito River Valley Conservancy (SDRVC) River Valley Fest is its major fundraising event of the year.  This year’s event, “For Wild’s Sake!”, will be a week-long virtual experience starting on September 28 and culminating in the main event on October 4.  Families, couples, and individuals will enjoy live-streamed entertainment by popular band Daring Greatly, a fun and interactive silent auction, and an enticing “Raise the Paddle” that will offer surprises.  During the week leading up to the main event, people can bid on silent auction items, view live video chats, pre-recorded videos by guest speakers, and “shop” at businesses advertising on our event landing page.
