Amplified Impact was born from a dream to highlight the worthy causes that make North County thrive. Cruise the sunny 101 to the Jr. Seau Amphitheater, peruse local makers, rock out to local bands, grab a bite and enjoy cultural performances from across the globe.
Vote for your favorite band and support a great cause! Between 4 and 7 pm, five bands are battling for a $2,500 grand prize, and every vote cast is a split contribution to their chosen charity and Interfaith Community Services. Your support helps these musicians give back to the communities they serve. Choose your winner and make your vote count!

Proceeds support OUR Arts Foundation, Community Resource Center, and Just in Time for Foster Youth—helping expand creative healing, safe relationships, stable housing support, and mentorship for young adults transitioning from foster care. This isn’t just a concert – it’s a coming together of community to share stories and purpose.

PeaceFest

PEACEFEST is a family-friendly music, arts, and service festival hosted by Kids for Peace to unite our communities, spark joy, and infuse more positivity into the world. Highlights include musical performances by epic bands like The B-Side Players, The Agents of Apollo, We the Commas, and Lee Coulter.

The festival also features hands-on peace-themed arts and service stations, several community art projects, student showcases, and a Band Jam competition for teen and tween bands competing for a $1,000 prize. With local food, craft cocktails, fun games, hippie-themed costume contests, and more, PEACEFEST is an inspiring celebration for all ages.

John Denver Tribute at North Coast Repertory Theatre

Jim Curry, returns to North Coast Repertory Theatre to perform the music of the late John Denver. The music “is like an old friend, outlasting trends and standing the test of time,” says Mr. Curry. Join acclaimed performer Jim Curry for this tribute to the music of one of the most beloved singer/songwriters ever to grace the stage.

 

Jim Curry, whose voice was heard in the CBS-TV movie Take Me Home: The John Denver Story, has performed Denver’s music in sold out shows throughout the country and has emerged as today’s top performer of John Denver’s vast legacy of multi-platinum hits.

He has an uncanny ability to mirror John’s voice and the clean-cut look takes you back to the time when “Rocky Mountain High” “Sunshine” “Calypso” and “Annie’s Song” topped the charts and his is popular music had the heartfelt message of caring for the earth and for each other.

 

Over the years, Jim has been joined onstage by former John Denver band members and behind the scenes with John’s family and friends. Curry has developed a one-of-a-kind musical and visual experience in which parents, grandparents and children alike can immerse themselves in uplifting, heartfelt music with a message. The music is performed along with projected slides and videos of nature that will truly fill up your senses.

Jim will be accompanied by his wife, Anne Curry (vocals, guitar and mandolin), Gordon Lustig (guitar/banjo) and Chris Wills (vocals and keyboard).

The Mainly Mozart All-Star Orchestra Festival returns to San Diego June 18 to June 28, 2025. The annual summer festival is a highlight of the classical music calendar and the country’s largest gathering of concertmasters and principal players from the nation’s top orchestras. Under the baton of Maestro Michael Francis, who returns for his 11th year as Music Director and conductor, the 2025 festival features six, unique performances at two venues, The Conrad Prebys Performing Arts Center and the UC San Diego Epstein Family Amphitheater. The festival, the largest Mozart celebration in North America, opens with a must-hear performance of Mozart’s newly discovered Serenade in C Major. 

Featuring musicians from top U.S. orchestras including the New York Philharmonic, Los Angeles Philharmonic, Chicago Symphony, Cleveland Orchestra, Philadelphia Orchestra and more, Mainly Mozart’s All-Star Orchestra is the only orchestra of its kind in the country.
