Tu B’Shvat Food Forest Festival at Coastal Roots Farm

Tu B’Shvat Food Forest Festival at Coastal Roots Farm

North County Philanthropy Council December 30, 2018

Coastal Roots Farm invites you to our annual Tu B’Shvat Food Forest Festival!

Our Food Forest Festival this year focuses on the 7 Sacred Species (wheat, barley, dates, figs, grapes, olives, and pomegranates).

Not only do these crops produce delicious food, but they are also thought to contain a special holiness, reminding us to be thankful for the goodness of our land.

Join us for this family-friendly event!

Date: Sunday, January 20 from 10am-2pm

Details: Celebrate the Jewish New Year of the Trees by planting over 100 trees, doing hands-on activities including DIY soap, jewelry, energy balls, and flatbread, learning sessions, Food Forest and vineyard tours, cooking demos, and playing in the Kids Zone with crafts, a petting zoo, a story walk, and the opportunity to become Jr. Ranger.

Location: 800 Ecke Ranch Rd.

Info and Tickets: bit.ly/FoodForest19 (Tickets range from $0-$18. Click for more info!)

We hope you will also share this wonderful event with your community! A flyer is attached for printing. Thank you so much for your support of Coastal Roots Farm! We hope to see you soon.
