Two Part Grant Writing Workshop With Sharyn Goodson

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS A 2 DAY WORKSHOP! The 2nd session is September 14th from 9 am to 12 pm.

Workshop will be led by Leichtag Foundation’s Director of Philanthropic Strategy, Sharyn Goodson.

Attendees will obtain training and engage in interactive discussions to:

• Discover new revenue sources

• Improve grant writing skills

• Confidently integrate grant writing into current fundraising portfolios

During these sessions you will:

• Make sense of applying for grants in simple, achievable steps
• Repurpose what you already know about your organization to apply for grants
• Pick up strategies that will change how you approach all fundraising efforts
• Create a working case statement that showcases your organization’s strengths and serves as the foundation for grant proposals
• Practice using stories to bring life to the facts and build connections with donors
• Learn about funding opportunities through the Department of Homeland Security and other sources
