What do you benefit most from being a member of NCPC?
Community outreach and charitable giving are a large part of our culture here at PRAVA Construction. It is our honor to be able to network and learn about new organizations and the ways that PRAVA can continue to serve our community.
What is your Mission?
Our mission is leadership through service. Our strong commitment to collaboration and open communication on our project sites allows us to help our clients with cost, value, and scheduling, to maximize their resources.
What do you offer to the community?
We are engaged with our community through service, leadership, and excellence in business.
- As a General Contractor, we are enabled to assist in the revitalization of our local communities for the betterment of our surrounding neighborhoods. We are a full-service general contractor that specializes in technical commercial/industrial construction projects. Proudly family-owned and operated we run our business on the same principles on which we have established our family: Integrity, Partnership, Dedication, Fairness, Respect, and good old-fashioned hard work. We provide the personal service and flexibility of a small builder but have the experience and strength of a large contractor.
- Outside of construction, PRAVA’s engagement continues to grow considerably through charity work, volunteering, fundraising, industry affiliations, and diversity. The Prava Team is dedicated to community partnerships throughout the year; including the San Diego 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb, the Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank, the Boys & Girls Clubs of North County, Canine Companions, and the San Diego Blood Bank, to name a few.
What was your organization/company’s biggest accomplishment in the past six months – one year?
In the 4th quarter of 2022, we implemented a hybrid work schedule for the benefit of our employees. We prioritize having a healthy work-life balance as we are family-owned and oriented and we feel this has increased the work-life balance by cutting down on commutes and allowing our employees some flexibility. Since we implemented our hybrid program, we have seen a large increase in morale! This has also made large impacts on our sustainability by cutting down on commutes, gas, time on the road, and allowing for more virtual collaboration options.
What event/program or campaign do you have coming up that you would like to share with our readers?
PRAVA is participating in several upcoming events! On April 1st, we have a team participating in the Race for Autism, a 5k run that fundraises for Autism Initiatives that work to improve the lives of those with autism. On April 15th, we are partnering with the Boys & Girls Club of North County for their Diamond Gala at Pechanga Resort, which raises funds for programs like homework help, sports, arts, music, healthy habits, and helping them to reach their full potential. On May 6th, in honor of women’s history month, we are partnering with Girls Rising for their STEM fair, where girls in elementary, middle, and high school will be able to hear from a broad range of professionals at all career levels, and will be able to enjoy interactive workshops, guest speakers, and more! Only July 12th, we are hosting a blood drive at our office with the San Diego Blood Bank! For more information, visit https://pravacsi.com/
