Throughout our 83-year history and today, Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater San Diego strives to constantly improve the service we provide to the young people we serve.
When our organization was created in 1941, providing supervision of young people and engaging them in fun activities was sufficient to achieve our mission. Since that time we have responded to the needs of our community by providing transportation from school to the Club, providing free healthy meals and snacks, implementing Power Hour for homework assistance, and introducing computer-based education programs to offset learning loss caused by the Covid Pandemic.
While our program has improved exponentially over the years, we will not cease to find new ways to become the best in the world at it. We are pleased to share a brief synopsis of our 2023 impact.
