Message from NCPC Board President, Shannon Stubblefield

Message from NCPC Board President, Shannon Stubblefield

North County Philanthropy Council January 3, 2019

2018 was a year of growth for our North County Philanthropy Council community! We welcomed new members, added workshops to complement quarterly luncheons, hosted coffee connectors each month – and celebrated record-breaking numbers of volunteers at our Volunteer Awards Luncheon this past fall.

Thank you to Javier Guerrero for his visionary leadership and to our Board and staff for their dedication to making change in our community. As the new 2019 Board President, I am grateful to work alongside our committed members to strengthen philanthropy in North County. We’re looking forward to new opportunities this year and keeping the momentum going.

Please plan to join us for our first luncheon of the year on February 1. We are honored to host Peter Seidler, Dan Shea, and Stephanie Kilkenny as our guests in a presentation titled “Getting Down to Business: The Power of Philanthropy and Business Leaders Addressing Homelessness”. We hope to see you there for an engaging and lively luncheon!

Shannon
