Jim Floros, Founder and CEO, was inspired to start consulting because of his deep passion for the nonprofit sector and desire to leverage his decades of hands-on experience to help other organizations succeed.
About the Founders
Jim brings over 38 years of nonprofit leadership, including 29 years as a CEO, to the firm. He led the San Diego Burn Institute and the Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank, both local, grassroots nonprofits, to national prominence, multiplying their impact and resources. Jim’s strategic vision and fundraising prowess have resulted in over $150 million raised during his career, and his leadership during crises, such as the COVID-19 pandemic, has earned him multiple prestigious awards. Jim is recognized as one of San Diego’s most influential business leaders and has received numerous accolades such as Nonprofit CEO of the Year and the Eva Irving Community Service Award.
Cheryl Floros, Managing Partner, is a certified meetings and events professional with more than 30 years of experience in marketing, public relations, and community outreach. Her expertise in event planning, crisis communications, and comprehensive marketing campaigns has earned international recognition. Cheryl’s background includes leadership roles at the San Diego Humane Society & SPCA and the San Diego Burn Institute, where she developed and implemented impactful programs and outreach strategies.
