The Andrew Salazar Memorial Golf Tournament, July 16, 2021, will raise funds to help two outstanding organizations on the front line providing solutions for this growing problem.
Friends of La Posada, meaning ‘shelter,’ an all-volunteer group started over 30 years ago, to provide housing for migrant workers in the fields of Carlsbad, now supporting the unsheltered in Carlsbad and North County San Diego.
Interfaith Community Services, has operated over 40 years with multiple San Diego locations to empower people in need to stabilize their lives with their comprehensive programs, including their newest project, a 54 bed renovated hotel in Escondido called a Campus for Healing and Transformation.
