Nonprofit Finance Fund will lead this 90-minute training geared toward foundation trustees and board members, as well as individual philanthropists, will set a clear understanding of the importance full cost plays in achieving sector outcomes. The components of full cost will be clearly defined, and connected to different grantmaking strategies. One funder will never be expected to pay the full cost of running a nonprofit. However, funders have a responsibility to pay appropriate portions and components of full cost based on their strategy and expectations of grantees.

Who Should Attend?

Funders

Foundation trustees or board members, senior staff of foundations, individual philanthropists, and members of giving circles.
Your funding organization may be incorporating a full cost approach in some or all of its grantmaking, or staff may be asking you to adopt this approach. While you may not be responsible for the implementation (depending on the size and structure of your operation), you do need to understand the implications of full cost funding.
Nonprofits

This workshop is not geared toward nonprofits.
