Join High Five’s Nonprofit NetWalk! This free walk meetup is a fun, relaxed, and informal way to connect and network with fellow nonprofit leaders, funders, and Board members.

Join our host, Pratiksha Gandhi of Global Foundation for Preventive Cardiology at the Manchester Reserve in Encinitas. We’ll take a leisurely walk/hike along a dirt trail (sturdy close toed shoes recommended) which has a slight incline in some places. Dog friendly.

Time & Date: March 22, 2024 at 10:30 am

Location: Manchester Preserve Coordinates: 33.02875, -117.24305 (See Detailed Directions Below)

4147 Manchester Ave Encinitas, CA 92024

Who can attend: Anyone in the nonprofit and philanthropic field. Leashed and well-behaved furry friends are welcome to join us on the walk portion only.

Difficulty level: Easy.

Additional info: Dress is casual with comfortable shoes. Be aware that we will be walking on a dirt trail. Light refreshments will be provided.

Detailed Directions: We will meet in the small dirt parking lot at the SouthEast Entrance to the preserve off of Manchester Ave. and Trabert Ranch Rd. (you can enter GPS coordinates 33.02875, -117.24305 into Google Maps)

To get to the Manchester Ave. entrance to Manchester Preserve, take the I-5 to the Manchester Ave. exit and head east.

After 2 miles (look to your right for the San Elijo Lagoon), take a right to stay on Manchester Ave. and after another mile, find the Preserve entrance and dirt lot on your left.

Bonus: For those who are interested, you may check out the Bamboo Wellness Center where the GFPC is located just 0.5 miles up the road after the walk.

Parking: Parking is free at the trailhead parking lot, but limited to a few cars due to it’s small size. However, free parking is available on Trabert Ranch Rd. which is next to the preserve. Park on the west side of the street to avoid parking citations or towing from the residents across the street.
