Day at the Races 2024

The Foundation for Developmental Disabilities (FDD) is delighted to unveil the eagerly awaited Day at the Races 2024! This remarkable fundraising event will captivate attendees on Thursday, August 29, 2024, at 12:00 PM, hosted at the illustrious Il Palio restaurant within the Del Mar Thoroughbred Club. Set against the backdrop of the racetrack, attendees will bask in the comfort of a luxurious skybox, indulging in exhilarating entertainment, a silent auction, and the chance to forge connections within a vibrant community.

All proceeds from this event will go toward FDD’s Help Fund Program. The Help Fund is one of the Foundation’s most impactful programs, serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDDs) and their families. Since 1986, we have provided over $2,000,000 to assist the San Diego Regional Center’s (SDRC) 37,000 clients in emergencies such as homelessness prevention and utility assistance.
