The Power of Storytelling

Storytelling connects us all. It is a fundamental element of the human experience. We use stories to share lessons, communicate feeling, spark imagination, and persuade others to make change.

Featuring Shelby Woulfe & Rushell Gordon

Shelby Woulfe oversees the grant writing and administration for Girl Scouts San Diego. She works hard to inspire members of our community, local and national foundations, corporations, and government entities to get involved in the vital Girl Scout Movement. Shelby has over a decade of experience working at youth-serving organizations and understands the deep impacts empowering children can have on the world. She earned her bachelor’s degree in public relations from DePaul University and her master’s degree in leadership studies from University of San Diego.

Rushell Gordon is the founder/owner of Oceanside’s premier tea room, Bliss Tea & Treats. A strategic, action oriented operational leader of change with significant results in project, financial and organizational management. Demonstrated successes in gaining executive approval and funding for high-value, global start up operations and change programs, with the leadership discipline of getting the right things done as a result of many people working together.

Moderated by Christine Andersen.
