Founder and Principal Attorney of Peddycord Law, APC
Shawn brings nonprofit governance and fundraising experience from serving three years on the Board of Directors of the Moonlight Cultural Foundation, including service on the Executive Committee as Vice President and on the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee. He also guided the organization through a complex period of organizational transition involving the City of Vista, senior leadership changes, and long-term operational restructuring. He was also a founding board member of Students on Stage, expanding access to arts education in the San Marcos Unified School District.
A lifelong San Diegan who grew up in Rancho Penasquitos and graduated from Mt. Carmel High School, Shawn now lives in San Marcos with his family. His two children attend San Marcos High School, and his wife teaches first grade in Carmel Valley. His commitment to mission-driven work extends from his law practice to his nonprofit board service and community engagement.
