A Virtual Celebration
Presented by:
Watch the 2020 Recorded Broadcast | 2020 Volunteers of the Year | Corporate Leadership Awards | Sponsors | Celebration in a Box
For more than three decades, we have come together as a community of volunteers, philanthropists, business leaders, and nonprofit professionals with the commitment to sharing our time, talent, and treasure at the North County Philanthropy Council (NCPC) Volunteer Awards Celebration. Last year, even with the pandemic and the need to adapt to virtual, our members confirmed the importance of this event for their organizations by stepping up and honoring 94 volunteers from nonprofits as well as the corporate sector.
This year, we are excited to be hosting an in-person celebratory luncheon for the volunteers, their guests and of course for our generous sponsors on November 5. We will also continue to offer a virtual version for those who are unable to attend since seats will be limited. Be prepared to be inspired by the stories and passion of each volunteer that will be recognized. From working with community members in need and protecting the environment to providing support for seniors, our volunteers prove that we each have gifts to share, especially during these times. Together, we can magnify the spirit of philanthropy to make positive change for so many in our community.
Watch the Broadcast
The 2020 Volunteer Awards Celebration was a free, feel-good event that put hope back in your heart, restored your faith in humanity, and undoubtedly inspired you. We were so excited to have presented our 33rd annual Volunteer Awards and our first-ever virtual broadcast when we will honor 94 remarkable volunteers from our community plus our Corporate and Leadership Award honorees. Watch it again!
NCPC 2020 Volunteers of the Year
Every NCPC member organization has the opportunity to choose whom they would like to recognize as their "Volunteer of the Year". This provides the volunteer with a great big "thank you!" that will last throughout the year. Our corporate members are also invited to honor a staff member who embodies volunteerism. This provides businesses an opportunity to publicly recognize the service of their employees.
