We’re currently designing and implementing interventions to address San Diego’s top barriers to a fully thriving workforce and economy based on critical insights from the LEAPS San Diego Assessment. We need your collaboration in one or more areas:
Increase Childcare for Workers
Seeking: Orgs/Depts with <1,000 employees AND <$1 billion in revenue.
Goal: Increase the capacity of employers and childcare providers to offer high-quality childcare solutions.
Relevant LEAPS Assessment findings:
30% of San Diego workers, including 34% of women, may leave their jobs due to inadequate employer childcare support.
Your participation includes:
Beta test tools by participating in surveys and helping collect feedback from your employees (about 10 hours from Apr ‘24-Jan ‘25)
Enhance Small Business Prosperity
Seeking: Orgs/Depts with 10-49 employees.
Goal: Help small businesses create thriving ecosystems, and use their success to attract new dollars and talent.
Relevant LEAPS Assessment findings:
Small businesses are 50% likelier than large companies to embrace equity principles, but have less bandwidth or resources.
Your participation includes:
Complete the LEAPS Assessment, give feedback on how it can better serve small businesses, and beta test tools (about 10 hours from Apr-Dec‘24).
Eliminate Sexual Harassment
Seeking: Orgs/Depts with a total of 50-99 employees, contractors, interns, and/or volunteers.
Goal: Create an easily digestible employer toolkit for sexual harassment prevention.
Relevant LEAPS Assessment Findings:
32% of San Diego employees, including 30% of women and 40% of Latinas, experience sexual harassment at work.
Your participation includes:
Share your existing prevention workshops/trainings, employee feedback on their effectiveness, and beta test tools (about 10 hours from Apr-Sep ‘24).
