SUMMARY:Memories Unleashed at North Coast Rep Variety Nights
DESCRIPTION:Experience an unforgettable evening with Elijah Rock as he brings his newly acclaimed album Memories Unleashed – Impulse 1 to life on stage. Inspired by his father’s diagnosis with Alzheimer’s disease\, the album is both a celebration of timeless music and a deeply personal reflection on memory\, love\, and legacy. \n  \nHaving spent weeks in the Top 40 on the national jazz charts\, Memories Unleashed is a soulful journey through The Great American Songbook\, blending the elegance of classic jazz with intimate storytelling rooted in lived experience. Each performance invites audiences into a space where music becomes a vessel for remembrance\, connection\, and hope. \n  \nBacked by a stunning roster of world-class musicians who have performed with legends including Ray Charles\, Al Jarreau\, Nancy Wilson\, and Natalie Cole\, Memories Unleashed captures the sophistication and soul of a golden era\, brought vividly into the present through arrangements critics have called “timeless\, swinging\, and deeply human.” \n  \nThrough song\, Elijah Rock reminds us that while memories may fade\, the feelings they carry—and the people we love—remain forever within us. \n  \nJoin Elijah Rock for an evening of refined swing\, rich storytelling\, and musical excellence that honors the past while inspiring the future. \n  \n“It takes a certain kind of artist these days to carry on the torch passed on from the likes of Nat ‘King’ Cole\, Freddie Cole\, Billy Eckstine and Joe Williams.” — Jazz Weekly \n  \nMemories Unleashed runs June 8 and 9\, 2026 at 7:30pm at North Coast Repertory Theatre- 987 Lomas Santa Fe Drive Solana Beach\, CA 92075.  Please call (858) 481-1055 or visit our website\, www.northcoastrep.org\, to purchase tickets.  Tickets are $50.
