Nonprofit NetWalk with Goodwill Community Employment Center in Oceanside

Join High Five’s Nonprofit NetWalk! This free walk meetup is a fun, relaxed, and informal way to connect and network with fellow nonprofit leaders, funders, and Board members.

We will be hosted by Diane Record at the Goodwill Community Employment Center in Oceanside. Goodwill’s mission is to provide employment and training opportunities to people with disabilities and other barriers to employment.

We’ll enjoy an exclusive tour of the mobile employment center and employment office and take a stroll from Goodwill through downtown Oceanside to the Pier. If we’re lucky, we might see some seals, whales and dolphins among the surfers and fellow beachgoers!

Time & Date: Thursday July 10, 2025 at 9 a.m.

Location: 414 North Coast Highway, Oceanside CA 92054

Who can attend: Anyone in the nonprofit and philanthropic field. Leashed and well-behaved furry friends are welcome to join us on the walk portion only.

Difficulty level: Easy. It is a 0.5 mile walk to the Oceanside Pier (approximately a 10 minute walk) from our employment center.

Parking: Parking is available the Oceanside Public Library parking garage on Civic Center Drive. There is also nearby parking along Civic Center Drive or Sportfisher Drive.

Additional info: Dress is casual with comfortable shoes.
