Lisa Bartkowski
Head of Employee Communications and Community Outreach, Genentech Oceanside
Lisa Bartkowski is originally from Manhattan Beach, CA. She moved to San Diego to attend SDSU and never left. Lisa has over 20 years of experience in the Biotech industry, starting her journey at Genentech in 2005 in Human Resources. Since 2015 she has led the Community Outreach and Employee Communications, supporting ~800 employees at Genentech’s Oceanside Manufacturing Operations. She resides in North Park with her husband, 2 children (ages 14 and 10), and 3 dogs. She enjoys spending time with friends and family in her spare time, trying new restaurants, camping, and traveling. Last year she earned her 1st-degree black belt in Taekwondo.
Colleen R. Lukoff
Board President, San Marcos Community Foundation
Ms. Lukoff joined the San Marcos Community Foundation Board in 2006, and has served as its President since 2008. She, along with the other volunteer board members, oversees the grantmaking process to nonprofit organizations serving San Marcos.
Ms. Lukoff consults with non-profit organizations regarding their growth and fund development needs. A graduate of San Jose State University, she has worked in the non-profit sector since 1985. She was a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) from 1992 to 2021, and honored in 1999 as the Outstanding Professional Fundraiser by the Silicon Valley Chapter of the National Society of Fund Raising Executives (now Association of Fundraising Professionals – AFP).
Tory See
Director, ESG & Social Impact, Viasat
Tory has worked in the Social Impact space for 15 years, gaining experience in building Viasat’s ESG and Social Impact efforts from the ground up and in her experience working at a private family foundation. As a seasoned ESG and Social Impact professional, she is passionate about advancing equity & inclusion, as well as wellness and mental health. Tory has had roles spanning from employee giving to internal communications and employer brand, engineering program manager, diversity, equity and inclusion, and today is Director of ESG and Social Impact for Viasat, a global communications company that believes that everyone should have equal opportunity to access the tools and resources available via the internet. In April, Viasat launched the highest-capacity satellite ever engineered to drive its commitment to digital inclusion around the world. Tory is currently pursuing a graduate certificate in Sustainability and Innovation through Harvard Extension School, and recently obtained a coaching certification through Lumia. In addition to her time working on Social Impact and Sustainability, she is also involved at the board level of Generation STEAM and Cal State San Marcos University Council. Outside of the office, Tory enjoys spending time in nature with her family and friends, breathwork and cold plunging, and playing any and all games.

Executive Vice President & Chief Impact Officer, MAAC
Lisette Islas is the Executive Vice President & Chief Impact Officer at MAAC, a nonprofit that has offered programs and services in the areas of health, education, economic development, housing, and advocacy throughout San Diego County for more than 58 years. In her role, Lisette focuses on increasing the visibility, reach and outcomes of MAAC’s work, and facilitates the leadership development for staff, board members, and volunteers. With more than twenty years of experience working in the fields of community development and philanthropy, she is passionate about finding innovative ways to uplift individuals and families and is a strong advocate for equitable economic opportunities for all.
Lisette is a board member of the San Diego Regional Economic Development Corporation where she serves on the Executive Committee as the Vice Chair with a focus on inclusive growth. Additionally, she is a board member of the South County Economic Development Council as well as the Burnham Center for Community Advancement, and volunteers with Hispanas Organized for Political Equality (HOPE).
Lisette graduated magna cum laude from the University of California, Berkeley with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and did her masters studies in urban planning, with an emphasis on public policy, at the University of California, Los Angeles. Ms. Islas also has a certificate in nonprofit management from the Harvard University School of Business.
