The Treasurer provides strategic oversight of SDAD’s financial health and ensures the organization maintains sound financial practices. This role works closely with the board to oversee budgeting, financial reporting, cash flow, and long-term financial planning in support of SDAD’s mission.

Responsibilities include reviewing financial statements, monitoring revenues and expenses, presenting financial updates to the board, helping develop the annual budget, and ensuring compliance with nonprofit financial policies and reporting requirements. The Treasurer also supports fundraising and revenue planning by providing financial insight to guide organizational decisions.

The ideal candidate has experience in finance, accounting, bookkeeping, or nonprofit financial management. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to transparency and fiscal responsibility are essential. Commitment is approximately 6 to 8 hours per month.
