Cox is changing lives one connection at a time
Cox Communications is known for connecting San Diego County homes and businesses to award-winning telecommunications services, and it’s also known for connecting to its community to change lives.
Whether awarding nonprofit grants through Cox Charities, bringing computers and home Wi-Fi to low-income students through its Connect2Compete program, or gathering hundreds of Team Cox employee volunteers for beach cleanups, Cox continues to deliver for its communities throughout San Diego County, including North County neighborhoods from Solana Beach to Oceanside and Vista to Fallbrook.
In July, Cox presented SBCS with a $100,000 donation from the James M. Cox Foundation to fund a neighborhood computer lab at its new community engagement center. The James M. Cox Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Cox Enterprises, parent company of Cox Communications.
In January, the Foundation awarded a $100,000 emergency donation to the Chicano Federation to assist families impacted by the historic floods.
