The Development Director will provide leadership, strategic direction, vision and management to expand The North County LGBTQ Resource Center fundraising efforts. The Director of Development will create and implement fundraising strategies that increase the organization’s support from individuals, corporations, foundations, grants and other sources, emphasizing the development of individual donors. The Director of Development will play a vital role in identifying, cultivating and soliciting major donors for annual and planned gifts and will collaborate with the ED, Board of Directors and key community gatekeepers. Center staff and volunteer leadership. Management of annual gala benefit in the fall, Dining Out for Life, Holiday Campaign and Giving Tuesday.

Candidate supports the organizational values and includes a demonstrated commitment to racial equity, inclusion, social justice, to serve the most vulnerable with accountability and transparency. Incumbent will exercise sound judgment with involvement in all aspects of The North County Center’s fundraising and development program.. The successful candidate will leverage available resources to meet the development program goals. Network meetings, data base management and training for staff.
