Gala Volunteer Support Opportunities
- Auction/Package Prep Support (3 Volunteers)– 5-7 pm
- Seeking volunteers to assist with the packaging and set up of auction items in preparation for our Diamond Gala. Assistance is needed on Wednesday, March 1st.
- Auction Set Up (Day of Event- 3 Volunteers)– 1 pm-3 pm
- o Seeking three volunteers to assist with Auction items set up at the Carlsbad Westin Resort on the day of the Diamond Gala.
- Centerpiece Set Up/Decorations (4 Volunteers) – 2 pm-4 pm
- Gala Registration (5 volunteers) – 4:45 pm – 7 pm
- Silent Auction Volunteers – 2-3 Volunteers 5:30 – 7:30
- Highlight the winning bid on each clipboard
- Move silent auction items to the checkout area
- Pack up auction supplies
- Photobooth Volunteer (1)- Assist David as needed 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm
- Live Auction Support – (4 volunteers) 7:30 pm – 8:45 pm
- Record live auction results in the ballroom
- Auction Close Out – 4 volunteers 6:30 – 9pm
- Move items to check out
- Organize items by winning bid number
- Separate items in person or at home
- Gala Check Out (5 volunteers) 9 pm – 10:30pm
- Print receipts
- Runners (collect items for winners on departure)
- Check out stations to collect payments as needed
- Load up all items returning to the club (centerpieces, etc.)
