In partnership with The Nonprofit Institute at the University of San Diego, United Way of San Diego County offers a seven-week virtual course to help professionals prepare for effective nonprofit board service. After program completion, participants are awarded a Nonprofit Board Service Certificate from the University of San Diego, and United Way connects them with nonprofits seeking board members with specific areas of expertise.
